3. Respect and support your children’s need to love and have access to both their parents – support generous access.

4. Respect and support your children’s need for hands-on physical, psychological, emotional and financial support and security – willingly engage with your children and willingly provide financial support.

5. Work hard at establishing a respectful ongoing co-parenting relationship with your ex-partner – it really is worth the effort and your children deserve it. Remember that you each chose the other to be the parent of your children.
