Muriel WallsMuriel Walls
Muriel has been practising family law for over 30 years and was the first solicitor in Ireland to be collaboratively trained.

Muriel believes passionately that separating couples are best placed to make the right decisions for themselves and their families and that they should be empowered to do so. There will always be some cases that need a judicial determination however most cases settle, often on the steps of the Court or in the days or weeks immediately before the scheduled hearing date. It is far better if the parties can try to reach agreement at an early stage before the stress and cost of adversarial litigation process takes its toll. Collaborative practice provides a structured and supportive framework for separating couples to find solutions.

Muriel is a family Mediator and has a busy mediation practice and is a member of the Mii and One~Resolve. She is a Fellow of the International Academy of Family Lawyers, a member of the Law Society of Ireland, Family Lawyers Association and Resolution – First for Family Law..
