Gearoidín Charlton, BCL, MSc (Syst Orgs & Man)

Gearoidín Charlton graduated from UCD in 1981 and qualified as a solicitor in 1985. For eighteen years, she practised Family Law in a medium sized firm and headed up their Family Law Department. She subsequently set up her own practice in 2002. She is the principle of Charlton Solicitors, specialising in family Law and related issues. Gearóidín has post graduate training in mediation and psychotherapy equipping her with additional skills to deal with the challenges facing clients and lawyers alike in cases of matrimonial/relationship breakdown. Brendan Dillon
Brendan Dillon is principal of Dillon Solicitors in Nutgrove Office Park, Rathfarnham, Dublin 14. He has been advising on Family Law matters for almost 20 years. Ray Gilmore
Ray graduated from NUIG in 1995 and was admitted as a solicitor in 2000. In addition, he holds a Diploma in Arbitration from UCD. Katherine Irwin
Katherine Irwin was educated in Cork and University College Cork and obtained her Law Degree in UCC in 1985. Since then she has practised in the area of Family Law in Ireland and England, setting up Irwin Solicitors in 1998. In 2007 Katherine trained in Collaborative Law. Sharon McElligott
Sharon McElligott is a partner in Murphy McElligott, solicitors. Sharon is a specialist family lawyer with considerable experience in dealing with separation, divorce and non-marital family disputes.
Sharon has acted in a number of leading cases before the courts involving extensive business assets. Shauna qualified as a solicitor in 1992. Since then she has worked in the areas of family law, conveyancing and probate. She set up her own practice in 1998 and has always provided a personal, confidential and efficient service to all her clients. As a trained collaborative lawyer, she understands that the trauma of a family break-up can be handled sensitively through the collaborative method. Joan O’Mahony
Joan O’Mahony has been in private practice in excess of 30 years. She has worked in the area of family law for many years and has seen the changes brought about by the introduction of Judicial Separation (1989) and Divorce (1996). She was a founder director of the Family Mediation Service and sits on the Family Law Committee of the Law Society. As well as specialising in family law her practice deals with property, wills, employment and all general matters. She promotes collaboration, mediation and negotiation as a way of settling conflict.

Mary O’Neill
Mary O’Neill has successfully practiced family law for over 25 years in Dublin. She started O’Neill Regan and Company in 1984 in Blackrock, Co. Dublin.
